Diana I. Giraldez, PhD., LMFT
Dr. Diana Giraldez, Family Therapist at Lifeskills South Florida obtained a Master’s and Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy and a secondary concentration in Family Systems Healthcare from Nova Southeastern University (NSU). Diana has participated in several research studies including childhood development in VPK daycares in South Florida funded and directed by Rutgers University, as well as the socio-cultural impact of autism on parents, funded and directed by NSU at the Baudhiun Preschool. She has presented at the national American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy conference and several state forums. Throughout her 12 years of practicing therapy, her areas of interest are working with couples and families utilizing a post-modern natural systems lens involving intergenerational patterns of behavior communication. Diana is from Panama City, Panama, and she is fluent in English and Spanish.
